Commissioning method of new oil press
When a new oil press is installed, it is important to ensure that it is commissioned properly. Commissioning is the process of verifying that the equipment is installed correctly and operates as intended. This process is critical to ensure that the oil press operates efficiently and safely. The commissioning method involves a pre-commissioning check, lubrication, electrical connections, testing, and calibration. Following these steps will ensure that the oil press operates correctly and produces high-quality oil.
There would be a running-in time for new oil press before putting into use. The running-in time of the old type oil press is longer, so many manufacturers have introduced the oil press that does not need running-in. It can be used for oil extraction directly after purchasing. However, the running in of machine and oil extraction are different. Therefore, simple running-in operation of the new oil press should be made to make the oil press put into use quickly.
Before using the oil press, first the auxiliary appliance should be prepared, check and adjust the tightness of adhesive tape of container. Then, start the motor to make the machine idle for 15 min and check the speed of screw shaft. The general speed should be about 33dmin. Pay attention whether gear meshing and voice are normal and each bearing parts and motor are normal when idling. The motor current should be controlled in hydraulic idling. If the current is too high, it is necessary to stop the machine and check immediately. Start the machine after adjusting.
When the no-load operation is normal, prepare about 50 kilograms of raw materials (such as soybean, rapeseed) ready to feed into hopper. Note: when start feeding, it can not be too fast, or it would get the chamber pressure increases, causing the screw extrusion and other serious accidents. Therefore, materials should be fed into the hopper uniformly in the beginning for running-in of oil press. Repeating for more than 3 ~ 4 h to make the temperature of oil press rising, and even emit smoke (this is normal phenomenon). Then, move the screw bolt slowly and improve the thickness of filter cake and keep the temperature of pressing chamber to about 90°C. When the cake thickness is 1.5 ~ 2.5mm, tighten the clamp nut.
When the oil press is running, check the operation condition of the machine regularly. The moisture content of oil bearing material can not be too high or too low. Normal cake should be in sheet shape. The side of cake on the pressing bolt side is smooth, the other side has many pores. If the cake is loose or deformed, it would broken into pieces when pinching with the hand. It shows that the moisture of material is lower. If the cake produced is soft and large with oil and bubble, it shows that there is too much water. Under normal circumstances, there is little or no dross between the round rows. In the slag discharging place, when the slag is fine flake, then the moisture content is higher; if it is powdery, it shows that the moisture is less. In addition, when the moisture content of raw material is too high or too low, the oil outlet position would move backward.
