The use of the screw oil press and matters needing attention
The screw oil press is a vital piece of equipment for those involved in the oil production industry. It is used to extract oil from various oilseeds such as soybean, peanut, sunflower, and rapeseed. However, to ensure the efficient operation of the screw oil press and obtain high-quality oil, certain precautions need to be taken.
Installation and trial operation of oil press
After purchasing a screw oil press, the first step is to install and run it. The installation site should have adequate air circulation, sufficient light, and enough space for operation. The base of the screw oil press should be fixed with cement to ensure stability. Before starting the machine, a comprehensive examination of the screw oil press should be conducted to ensure that all parts are in good condition, fixed firmly, and well lubricated. Any unusual sounds or impacts when turning the pulley should be investigated. Once everything is error-free, the machine can be started.
Start-up control of oil press
After starting the machine, it is recommended to let it idle for three to five minutes before feeding it slowly and uniformly. This will allow the temperature inside the machine chamber to rise gradually. Pressing should begin when the temperature reaches seventy to eighty degrees Celsius.
Press Process Control
During the pressing process, it is essential to control the cake thickness strictly. The pressing time should be adjusted according to the requirements of different varieties of oil plants. The cake thickness should be monitored closely during the pressing process. It is recommended to feed the seeds evenly to ensure consistent results. Any fall slag should be cleared immediately for recycling. Before stopping the machine, feeding should be stopped, and some cakes should be fed to ensure that residual cakes in the pressing chamber are discharged. The clearance of the cake outlet should be adjusted to allow excess dregs to be discharged from the pressing chamber.
Cleaning after shutdown of the oil press
After stopping the machine, the screw shaft of the oil press should be taken out to prevent hardening, which could affect the next working of the screw oil press. The pressing chamber and clearance should be cleaned immediately to prevent any residue from sticking to the machine. The screw axis should be put down immediately after unloading to prevent collision and deformation.
The use of the oil press requires attention to detail to ensure its efficient operation and obtain high-quality oil.
